By default, Sync does not create Contacts or Persons in a given system. This is to prevent increased costs from excess contacts in systems such as HubSpot.

To enable contact creation:

  1. Open the Sync console @
  2. Click Applications on the left-hand side
  3. Choose Settings for the application you wish to enable it for e.g. Pipedrive
  4. In the pop-up, ensure the checkbox for contact creation is ticked and then click Save

When a conversation is synced, Highways will now create a contact for that conversation if they do not already exist.

Important: Your provider may charge you on a per-contact basis. Please ensure you monitor your costs if you enable contact creation via Highways.
